Adam Driver may have dropped a huge hint on a major "Star Wars" mystery

It ain't east being in "Star Wars."

A breakout role in the series could launch your career but, boy, are you going to pay for it. Enter Adam Driver.

Driver plays Kylo Ren, son of Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa. His identity was the big reveal in 2015's "The Force Awakens" and now the pressing mystery is the identity of force-sensitive orphan Rey, played by Daisy Ridley.

Sitting down with GQ Magazine, the "Star Wars" villain made a possible gaff talking about the next installment in the series, "The Last Jedi."

Unfortunately for Driver, he may have dropped a huge hint.

"You have, also, the hidden identity of this princess who's hiding who she really is so she can survive and Kylo Ren and her hiding behind these artifices," Driver says, apparently dropping a massive revelation about Rey's royal origins.

So was this a true slip? Or just a fun red herring? Likely the later if Mark Hamill has anything to say about it.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits theaters Dec. 15.
