Netflix releases its 2017 'binge stats report,' trolls users making poor choices

2017 was a big year for Netflix, but a pretty sad one for a few people.

The streaming giant released its 2017 "Year in Bingeing" stats and the results are a bit of a mixed bag. Netflix keeps its numbers pretty close to the vest but they've been known to grant us a few nuggets here and there.

As for straight-forward data Netflix revealed that members watched a little more one billion hours per week and that the average member watched around 60 movies on the service in 2017.

We also now know that some poor soul in the UK watched Bee Movie 357 times over the last 12 months and that someone else streamed Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 365 days in a row.

We've also got some weird categories to dissect. Rather than just give us top-tens, Netflix put its own spin on things. Take a look.
