Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch was ejected from Thursday's night's game against the Kansas City Chiefs after making contact with an official. Any contact with an official is an automatic ejection.

Lynch was tossed during the second quarter after running onto the field and grabbing an official while trying to confront Chief's cornerback Marcus Peters. Peters had just been penalized for unnecessary roughness for a late hit on Raiders QB Derek Carr.

Prior to being ejected Lynch had a pretty quiet evening only rushing twice for nine yards.

At halftime Raiders coach Jack Del Rio gave comment to the incident speaking with CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

"That can't happen," said Del Rio. "You can't leave the bench. You can't touch a ref. That's inexcusable. It's an intense football game. Both teams want to win bad."
